We visited Brewhaha for breakfast while staying near North Adams. I ordered their oatmeal with fresh fruit, which was delightful. For lunch, we also picked up their vegans against the world wrap, which was so delicious that we regretted only buying one. The coffee was also very good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I highly recommend it. View all feedback.
I've gone to Brewhahahaha for years and it's still one of my favorite places for breakfast or lunch. It is more expensive than a diner, but almost all the food is made to order and has local and fresh ingredients. Coffee is great and often offers local roasts! If you are not sure what is vegan / vegetarian, ask in the register because they have a list of what it is. For lunch I usually go for a Vegans Against the World Wrap or salad (Ask for it vegan). For breakfast I tend to modify their Tofu breakfast sandwich. Today I created my favorite combo: Olive Cabatta Roll with avocado, tomatoes and pan-fried tofu. AMAZING! I would have taken a photo, but it was irresistible and I ate the whole thing before it came to me to take a photo. Whenever a friend comes to visit, I'll take her to Brewhaha. It is a great atmosphere with beautiful music (they have Putamayo music). The food is always good and creative, there are great drinks options, and the staff are helpful. Mr President. I have eaten at Brewhaha for years. My wife and I go for a great vegan breakfast as often as we can, and our non-vegan friends share our enthusiasm. We particularly enjoy the 'West End Scramble ' made with Tofu. There is also a great vegan 'Tofu Breakfast Sandwich '. Great staff, great atmosphere. It can get crowded at certain times of day, but worth the wait.. UPDATE: (June 2018) This great eatery just reopened at their new location...it was well worth the wait. The new restaurant boasts more room and a very well designed remodeling of an older building with a great amount of charm. The relaxing atmosphere, very friendly staff, and GREAT food remain the same.
There are at least two sandwiches made specifically for vegans under the menu title Vegans Against the World. There are also many sandwiches that are vegetarian and lots of salads that can be made to be vegan as well. They have a great selection of beverages ranging from all teas to all natural sodas and you can purchase from a selection of vegan cookies.
I had lunch at this restaurant while travelling through North Adams and everything was delicious! In addition to a number of vegetarian and vegan options, you can add tofu to any item $0.50) or substitute the meat in any dish for meat-free sausage at no extra charge. I enthusiastically reccomend Cafe Brewhaha!
Really tasty. We had the West End Scramble and the Belgium Waffle. Both were excellently prepared, with fresh, delicious ingredients. You should definitely grab breakfast here if you’re in town.
