Ett Glas - Norrtaelje

This restaurant is situated in the historic old town, close to the waterfront. The food and atmosphere at dinner were excellent, and the prices were reasonable (around $50 per person including one alcoholic drink). The fish dishes were particularly delicious, and my friends enjoyed their fajitas as well. It was quite crowded on Saturday night, so I suggest making a reservation in advance.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the staff is untrained and the food is not good. I ordered shrimp as my main course and they were served in a soup bowl with just olive oil and chili, lacking herbs or any other seasoning. The entrecote I ordered medium rare came well done, as did the one my dining companion ordered. After sending it back, it was cooked to the correct temperature but not grilled as stated on the menu - it was seared on one side and not the other. The supposed homemade bearnaise sauce tasted exactly like store-bought. Overall, the food quality is poor and there was a long wait before our order was taken. The atmosphere is not bad, but I would not recommend dining here unless you don't care about food quality or long waits.

The restaurant was upscale and had excellent service from the waitstaff. However, the food was disappointing. I ordered Swedish fish which tasted terrible and had a strange sweetness from the berries. My husband ordered a steak which was tasty but too small. The prices were high and overall, it's not a place I would recommend to others.

Nice place, room for improvement in food, but worth the price (lunch).

Beautifully located in the heart of the beautiful Old Town of Norrtälje. Cosy place to eat drink, excellent lunch deal very good service. Highly recommended!
