Bamboo - Norristown

Came in for an early dinner with my wife. The young man waiting on us seemed ok. We ordered 2 wonton soups. I asked for my soup to be extra hot and it was just barely warm. They have no noodles on the table which I have never seen in a Chinese restaurant. The wonton soup was awful, tasteless. After the waiter took our order, he then proceeded to go eat and left us with waitresses who did not speak English. They also got my shrimp fried rice wrong. I asked the waiter what vegetables were in it and asked for no vegetables but it came out with bean sprouts in it. When he came over.instead of apologizing, he gave me attitude when he the one who made tge mistake. The wings and spring rolls my wife ordered were not good. When we mentioned the chicken bones that were on the floor, he said he did not have time to pick them up. The only good part of my meal was the 2 cans of coke. They did not once come over to check on us and the restaurant was not busy at all.Do not go to this restaurant. They are rude and the food is awful!

Egg drop soup was watery. Egg rolls were mini 2 1/2 inches. Picture below. Spoon for reference. Two for $5 at that size? I called to get clarification. Will choose another establishment in the future. Very disappointed!!!!!

Waited 20 minutes longer for a pick up order with not a soul in the restaurant

It was surprisingly to find out the dishes very tasty which worths the 25 minutes drive. The servers were all friendly and food served with acceptable speed. Price is reasonable too. The only thing was that the food was more spicy than expected as it was marked one flame (meaning mild spicy? under the two dishes we ordered but they turned out very spicy and numbing and we could only finish half of them. We will come back to try some non-spicy dishes next time. Have said, all the food tasted very good ?.

I have tried to look past the rude lack of greeting upon arrival and lack of thank you at the register. Thinking perhaps this is cultural or language related. But this last visit was unbearable. The cashier never looked at me, hand signaled me to give her my card for payment and placed it and my receipt away from me for signature without any verbal interaction with me. I asked for some hot sauce, soy and duck sauces and that seemed to be an over and above ask. When she found them the mustard was old and brown for the usual golden yellow hot mustard. Never a greeting hello nor goodbye all the while fully chatting with another client and her daughter, Mediocre food and stale old sauces. My family Won’t be back!!!!!
