They got me to order by offering... read more I can only review the food since I had it delivered by OrderUp. I appreciate that service, but I won't be ordering here again. They got me to order by offering 1/2 price Create Your Own pastas. I ordered the penne with tomato sauce and chicken, and rigatoni with meat sauce with a meatball. It was awful. I love Italian food, but I could get better out of a jar. The chicken was bland and rubber and both pastas were overcooked. The meat sauce and meatball weren't ever edible. I threw the majority of it all away and I RARELY do that...I appreciate having food and not wasting it. But this stuff was bad. I won't be trying it again.

My family and I love to gather here to celebrate special occasions and enjoy a wonderful Sunday dinner. Every visit to Othello's is a highlight of my week. The food is outstanding, and the chef's specials are truly impressive. What I appreciate most about Othello's is its warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's no surprise that this restaurant is one of the most popular spots in Norman. The staff feels like an extended family, and they go out of their way to ensure guests feel at home. The owners take great pride in upholding Othello's excellent reputation, and manager Jen is a vital part of that success. She always greets patrons with a smile and exemplifies true hospitality. We are thankful for the warm welcome and will certainly be back!

However, lately,... read more I'm not sure what's going on with Othello's. My family and I have been enjoying meals here for 15 years and have always had a great experience. However, lately, the service has been disappointing. During my last visit, the food didn’t meet the usual standards—the stuffed mushrooms were small, and the chicken was rubbery. The service was also slow and disorganized. To the owners, I urge you to focus on enhancing the quality of both the food and service instead of making excuses. Let's work together to restore Othello's to its former glory and stop cutting corners. That said, I will continue to return for the delicious coconut pie.
