Despite having a reservation, we were not provided with a wine lis... read more This restaurant has a lot of room for improvement, particularly in training their wait staff. Despite having a reservation, we were not provided with a wine list or drink menus upon being seated. After a frustrating wait, we had to ask for the drink menus ourselves. It seemed like the waiters were not knowledgeable about the wine menu, as we had to point to the wines we wanted to order. Unfortunately, we received a New Zealand white wine instead of the French white wine we had requested, and the bottle was opened without showing us the label first. The food was enjoyable, especially the fish main and the duck salad starter. The portion sizes were generous and provided good value for the money. However, the service was lacking - we had to wait a long time after finishing our meal before finally flagging down someone to bring us the check. Overall, the food is decent but the service leaves much to be desired. This place would be better suited for customers who prefer ordering at the bar rather than receiving tableside service. Unfortunately, the overall experience was not up to par for a restaurant in a small town.
