One of the best chicken n fish places in norfolk. I had the fish sandwich, w pommes, n my oma had the 3pc wing meal. everything was well seasoned n very delicious!
BEST fried chicken in the area, lightest breading, moistest, tastiest and freshest, bar none. Good selection of homemade sides desserts. Fast friendly service. Cost affordable. Multiple locations, consistent quality.
The chicken was great and the sides provided for a well rounded diverse flavor offering. The puffs you get for the biscuit offering were not exactly to my taste as I prefer a firmer biscuit, however those I were with couldn't get enough of them.
Pollard's has very good chicken but my favorite are the liver and gizzards. My only complaint is they have stopped using the styrofoam carry-out containers and have started using flimsy boxes that don't hold up to the heat of the food. They really need to go back to the styrofoam.
The food is good and I usually don't have to wait long for my order, even if I didn't call in ahead.
