Off The Hook Seafood Chophouse Norfolk

This is by far the worst thing tidewater, virginia must offer as seafood and chophouse. I have traveled the entire east coast in some of the most remarkable establishments far and the food and service is missing the lowest degree on any chart to far as the worst I have ever experienced. the She-crab suppe was pitiful and tasted as if it had been heated several times with additional Old Bay seasons that made it good for nothing. the hush puppies were baked after the cool and leave them greasy and crispy, but hard to swallow. the fish and garnel was so old that the teig would not stick, which causes a total chaos of uncooked eating and overcooked teig. my fork could not penetrate the flesh. our service was missing and somewhat disappointing. we have gone as if we had arrived, a little hungry and hoped to find a better adventurous elsewhere. from the hook should be the card.

The food was tasty. The service was excellent. My only complaint was that the restaurant was cooler than I like it.

Overpriced.. Rock fish is highly pushed on you but not seasoned well at all.. calamari was undercooked crabcakes were the best green beans were the best hush puppies were the best however, these things should be good at a restaurant of this magnitude

Service was great, but the food was not. Steak was overcooked. Risotto needed seasoning. Brocolini was the highlight.

We had a large dinner party with little ones. The food was amazing the service was even better. Our server, Frank, was so kind patient. Great atmosphere.
