Contribute FeedbackGeneral The restaurant „Zur Nordsee“ enjoys a very good reputation in various forums as well as in the locals. We recommended this (other) by our landlord. For us reason enough to visit this. The restaurant is the only house with a direct view of the North Sea next to the “Op de Diek”. But more among “Ambiente”. Furthermore, it is more difficult for older and disabled people to reach, but some steps to the entrance are to be overcome. The restaurant or restaurant terrace is very well visited this beautiful summer evening. We'll find another place. Audience is mixed in colour. There are also people who don't come here for dinner. It is also not surprising if you are even supplied with drinks on the adjacent public benches. Short conclusion: even if we will show various criticisms, we can recommend this house. We sit on the terrace like almost all guests and are served by 2 young waitresses dressed in black purple. A waitress is here (on this evening) exclusively responsible for drinks. It is flashy and attentive, whether the large number of guests is quite beautiful in stress. In addition, after our observation, there is a bartender that inspires the drinks. This has a negative effect on the delivery time – we wait about 15 minutes for our drinks, which is too long on a hot summer evening. It is very positive that (own) small mistakes with a smile and the appropriate charm will be “enforced”. We can also report little negative about our 2nd waitress. Although it is also due to the large number of guests, the last tick attention is missing. In any case, in this house care is very carefully taken that all people at the table get their food at the same time. A further waitress is then added. That's very commendable. Of course we were asked at the end of the meal whether it tastes. However, the predominant stress was not able to ask this question in the meantime. When paying, we would like to point out to our waitress that we did not take the salad in a meal, but that was not taken into account in price. Immediately the court will be remunerated at €2, which we consider appropriate. The scores are difficult: Actually, it could have been smooth 4*, here we need to remember whether the too long waiting time for the drinks, also other guests had to wait very long, but to make smears. Flexibility and friendliness are absolutely commendable. We forgive very good 3* today, but emphasize that this is our personal impression of an evening. The food and drinks are a bit more expensive here than in other North Beach restaurants. We return this to the top location. However, for the local conditions, €4.40 for 0.5l beer and €2.50 for 0.2l apple juice appear at the upper limit. The menu offers something for every taste: vegetarians are also found here. We choose today: PikantFish pan in tomatoes Chilisauce, rice and salad plate for 14,90€: first comes the salad plate. We're excited. All ingredients fresh and crisp. To do this with exceptionally equipped: e.g. melon. In addition, the salad plates per table always differ somewhat. Partial with 2 dressings. That makes you feel more. Then the fish pan – finally I can taste chili again. After some time the nose is running... the rice is also good, but the little peel is a little bit. I'm still getting tired. Good 4* with a tendency to 5* fish breakfast fresh North Sea crabs, matjesfilet in cream sauce, inlaid brathering, roast potatoes and salad plate for 13.90€ (for crabs here no extra charge): a matjes fillet in good quality in delicious sauce, brathering well with a small portion of well roasted roasted roasted roast potatoes (these were not black). Portion size for a woman just sufficient. Smoothed by the fillet, pikanter sauce and roasting agent, (no longer on the salad plate) for 14.90€: salad plate as described above. The sprinkled picantly tasted, but not too sharp. This dish was enriched with various Chinese vegetables (Bamboo), which is actually positive to evaluate. However, the menu could give appropriate hints. Potato buffer for 4,20€: the large portion of applesa did not present a challenge. Decorated with a strawberry. Potato buffer nice pink. I was insured very tasty. Schollenfilet as a children's portion for 4,50€: a small sollen fillet with a little sauce – perfectly prepared. Decoration with strawberry and melon pieces. The frying potatoes are strongly fried. This is why we only pointed out in the corresponding demand. In total, a slightly smaller portion, but the children can be fed. Conclusion: High quality good to very good food, salad top. Portion sizes here slightly smaller. Whether the bruised roast potato we only award 4* The atmosphere As mentioned above, the location is absolutely top. Whether from the restaurant or the terrace to the squares “on the dike” you have an unobstructed view of the lake. And to all the abundance to the west, so you can experience the sunset with all your senses. This alone is worth a visit. The restaurant inside also offers a very nice atmosphere. Here dark furniture to bright walls form a beautiful contrast. Various accessories such as an old wine barrel and matching decoration contribute to well-being. However, this restaurant is not all flattering. There is a staircase to the toilet. Cleanliness We can only judge the terrace and the toilets here: We did not notice any defects from the table cover over cutlery and dishes. The toilets are also clean.
