Waraku is the perfect place for a healthy lunch or light snack to go. Their specialty are beautiful onigiri, a kind of Japanese rice ball with different fillings, wrapped in nori (seaweed). They also make their own iced tea to go, as well as bento boxes the perfect place and stock up on healthy convenient foods before catching a train from the nearby central station. Never had Onigiri before, it was really tasty! Will definitely come here again the next time I'm in Düsseldorf!
I really love it here. The Soup Set is just perfect for me because miso soup is so tasty and I always buy 2 onigiri. Everytime I eat there it's fresh and delicious. The cashier is so polite and the prices are very fair. I'd love to come back as much as possible.

They offer a large choice of onigiri, not only the standard variants you get in some snack shops and supermarkets. Many variants are vegetarian and some are vegan. Try the natto filling, it's a unique taste! Egg plant Wasabi is also good. If you want to start with something more adopted to westerners, you can try Shitake or carrot filling.
Very, very good onigiri - they have wide variety of onigiri, e.g. vegan, vegetarian, fish and meat. We tasted four of the vegan ones. They are super delicious... we can highly recommend this place. As good as in Japan
