Sakari is the restaurant inside the Dusseldorf motor museum formerly an old railway siding housing one of the largest classic car collections on the planet! We finished the day with freezing cold local Bitburger beers followed by delicious New York cheese cake and the most moist Schwarzwalder Kirschtorte Black Forest Cherry cake – great day!
For 25,50/person, you may expect a little more than a basket with stubborn rolls (probably baked rolls from the bag), a few packed jams (as in the sick house), a teller with salami(e ca. 10 slices, ham and brush roast) a plate with 10 gouda slices and a little camembert and a little bit lachs. as crowning a pan with spices and boring in tomatensauce along with rührei. this on a narrow table lined up for all present restaurant visitors. around 12 everything is cleaned and three cans are served with something undefined. the appetizers are also sweet and with the impression of the day before. only the dessert was good and something else. it is recommended: in the price is only juice and coffee, as well as tea included. even if the service is friendly with a wine bottle and offers, it is worth 7,50. a drink card is not enough to you before. so it can happen that you can give friends a brunch voucher and then have to pay them again 40€. and honestly, this is not worth eating. As a brunch buffet you are actually used to a choice. salad, cocktail, wing salad a selection of fish (lax, trout, halibut etc)., fruits and maybe even yogurt can be expected. the friendly service, which must also look at the whole thing, can't be ironed out. Conclusion: only where different brunches and then look at the cars in the remise, because this is really a pleasure for car lovers.
In bistro, with the magnificent view of the wonderful oldtimer, at lunchtime. the flame cake was good, could be well divided and also the following brittles on warm potato salad delicious.
The restaurant sakari is located on a gallery in the middle of the düsseldorfer meilenwerk, a large car park in the stadteil. Here are great oldtimer exhibited, which you have a great view from the sakari. there are two possibilities: the bistro in the ground floor or the restaurant in the 1st floor. the food comes from the same kitchen, only the ambiente is different, but always very special and unique. the restaurant sakar combines a fresh, regional kitchen with influences from all over the world. You can also preorder menus, e.g. Kalbs-Carpacio, followed by entenbrust and then pineapple. all excellent. a must be for lovers of noble body and upscale kitchen!

Unfortunately, it is often very empty.
