We've been here more often. The food is good and rich so a perfect price performance ratio for the hungry. The Spätzle are hand-rolled and cut! Very good and delicious! In addition to the standard dishes, there is always something seasonal on the map now there are pawlings therefore delicious and a recommendation! To review my review Residues 2020, I'll let pictures speak... View all feedback.
What Linwood Collier doesn't like about Saffrans:
we find that it was better and more whistled - modern kitchen with normal decor - for our taste something too expensive for ambiente and the quality - we will surely return again! View all feedback.
The two lovely bartenders working last night helped me charge my phone minutes to close. Helped pour me an Alt to calm my nerves after getting locked out..
I was already thinking that this was a really nice corner pub before their interesting menu convinced me to eat. A girl with a pinball smile brought me some..
We have been coming to Saffran for over years now when visiting Dússeldorf and it remains a firm favourite. The food is still excellent. Don't be deceived by the single loose page scruffy menus on the tables. The number of locals that you see...dining here is a much better indication of how good it is. They do an excellent Kaese Spaetzle and their Grillpfanne is delicious, all washed down with a frothy fresh Jever Pils. This year I had my daughter with me and it was no problem for them to accommodate us and served a perfect KinderGrillteller for her. We look forward to our next return visit
My son lives near this place and is on gluten free diet in Germany!! I had roasted calimari with a seasonal. We will return !!! salad salad
My wife and I had often passed this place on the tram or on bus number from the airport. Last December we wanted to try something different. I called in for a drink one day and had a word with the barman. My wife...does not speak German so I was pleased to see Englishlanguage menus. We called in that same night and we were allocated the last available table. It was December St. Nikolaus Day. We were made very welcome; the food was excellent with large portions moderately priced. Service was competent and at the end we had a conversation in English with our waiter. My wife enjoyed her pork medallions and I had a Spanishstyle tapas meal with Bratkartoffeln on the side. Access from Dusseldorf Station is easy; tram to Dreieck or bus to Munsterstrasse Feuerwache. A memorable evening. Guten Appetit. James Swales
