What Hubert Weiß doesn't like about Ratatouille Restaurant Bistro:
This place is convenient for a family or casual friend dinner. It is cosy and has a nice staff. The food is tasty but not as good as bar olio next door. They only take cash View all feedback.
We were there as a group of friends, the quality and taste of food was great, the service was good and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The concept is also one of a kind. I would recommend it and go back there again & again.
This restaurant offers really good french cuisine with a lot of variety. They also have a great wine list and are willing yo help out choosing the right wine to your dish. The steak tartar is amazing!Great ambiance. Sit outside in the backyard if the weather allows it.
Ratatouille Bistro in Dusseldorf is a busy restaurant, so it's essential to call ahead. We got our table almost immediately, and the order was taken in due time. Drinks and starters arrived swiftly, one of the main courses however took a sweet while to be delivered. The staff was clearly busy and had no comment about the waiting time. So, for anyone with an attitude seeking to be pampered by obedient servants or being easily annoyed by less than instant service there would have been enough to complain about. We, however, kept the conversation going and enjoyed our time together. With a bottle of wine the bill did not come cheap, and that was just fine.

Smoky restaurant with apparently minimal extraction from the kitchen that was open from front of house. Fantastic looking good value menus from the website morphed into a much more pricey 'a la carte' on the night. (Menus had been discontinued since last february). Out of a team of 5 diners, 2 starters were good and the rest poor or overpriced. All the main courses were good even if the heat available to the chefs could have been a little more powerful. Crepes were the crowning disaster. My 11 year old son could have offered better. Waxy, heavy and translucent, best describes them. Average price was 70 euro a head with 2 bottles of wine and 6 beers. (this included 5 mains 4 starters and 3 deserts)
