Superb location on the banks of the river and surrounded by other bars and restaurants. On a nice sunny day this is a great place to eat.You get your table and order your drinks with the waiters but the food needs to be ordered from what looks like a fish market stall. You can see what you are ordering as everything is laid out in ice and the seafood platters are all listed on the chalkboards. What User doesn't like about Gosch Sylt:
View all feedback.
While I had a very pleasant drink in this bar/restaurant next to the Rhine, I noticed a few with an amazing looking fish plater. I have derived it as the düsseldorfer Hafen-Platte for 2 persons €69. while they did their best to finish it, they took about halfway away in the doggy bag. my advice, you will get this substantial dish between 4 for what looked like a great fishing experience.
It is important to point out that this is not the industry at the Rhine. this fish restaurant is located in a shopping center in the district bilk. it is the only restaurant with table service in this shopping center. there are also outdoor seats with views of the traffic in front of the center. the service is friendly, but could be faster, which is available on the limited number of waiters. eating is not unusual, but in most cases good. positiw is the maritime decoration of the restaurant. in the shopping center there are enough parking spaces with a reasonable parking fee.
Excellent location on the shore of the river and surrounded by other bars and restaurants. on a beautiful sunny day this is a great place to eat. they get their table and order their drinks with the waiters, but the food must be ordered. from what looks like a fish market male. they can see what they order as everything is laid in ice and the seafood tablets are all listed on the chalkboards. they then get a device that alerts them when you are ready to eat and they go and get it. Between four of us we had two plates with seafood and one with fish. both came with a lot of salate and garlic bread. There was enough. all with decent white wine (limited choice) and beer (further choice not bad prices. barservice ok. it can be a bit busy though
We thought here were some waffles and warm drinks, mid afternoon. it is a pretty restaurant with sea desire, fish dishes are their speciality. there is a beautiful smell of fresh fishmeal. but their waffles were delicious, especially those with fresh red berries and cherry (and this is something to say, as I served a chokoholikum with a beautiful dusting of powder sugar and whipped cream. we have also tasted some traditional gluh wine glowing wine and that burst through warm wine. be warned: it works quickly!
This place is located at the river Rhine, it is called Kasematten An all time must to visit place when in Düsseldorf. I could die for Matjesbrötchen, a hering on a breakfast roll (Brötchen). I believe it is open from spring until fall. There are...also many more delicious fish meals. I like the atmosphere, great place to explore the positive energy Düsseldorf has to offer.
