Once again on the way to the airport, I took a lunch break in Norderstedt. This time I had looked very closely at which restaurants should be open at lunchtime. On Ulzburger Straße the flame should start from 11:30. But despite the restrained driving, it was only 11:20 when I parked my vehicle on the grounds of an adjacent supermarket. When I approached the restaurant, I saw a man sweeping in the entrance hall. When I studied the slope of the restaurant, he greeted me and I asked: “I am still a little early?” “Never,” the answer came as from the gun shot. He accompanied me to the restaurant where I was the first guest of the day to choose a table. I had just set myself when he had already given me the map and lit the oil lobster standing on the table. The focus of the offer is clearly on steaks, as well as some carving dishes, some offers with pig and turkey, some fish. The entire offer can be viewed on the restaurant's homepage: [here link] I then ordered “Pfeffersteak, Filetsteak (230 g with pepper sauce with green Madagascar pepper, plus fries and house bread” (21.50 € and a small specific (0.2l for 1.80 €). The waiter thanked and disappeared to give the order further, I was looking for the toilet. It proved to be up-to-date from the furnishing style and the installed technology and was clean and well maintained, there were no steps to be overcome for disabled or wheelchair users. When I returned to the table, there stood a basket with four slices of fresh white bread and a small bowl with a sphere of herbal butter, which was obviously shaped with an ice portioner. I took a slice of the still warm bread, dashed abundant herbal butter on it and bite in. The herbal butter worked itself, it was very well seasoned and very tasty. Little later the waiter came and served the food: On an oval plate on the right a considerable piece of meat with a beautifully grilled surface, in the middle a large portion of fries fries, along with the roasted house bread and on the left a small sauce with the pepper sauce. I poured some sauce over the meat and cut it. Inside the meat was beautiful pink, perfect medium grilled, and the taste was excellent. The pepper sauce also tasted significantly after pepper and was even quite sharp. The fries were fresh, hot and crispy, and the roasted bread was also good. I ate with pleasure, but did not arrive against the total amount served. In between, the waiter came back to my table and asked if everything was okay, which I liked to confirm. Conclusion: The restaurant, which is somewhat hidden away from the street, scores with a pleasant ambience, very good food and an attentive service at even moderate prices. Here you can go in any constellation, with family or friends or for a business meal. A clear recommendation.
Operation very good and sweet, food was great and also delicious, price was also ok.
Were there food on 23.7.20, the food was very good, the service was very friendly and accommodating. When you go there you do nothing wrong.
The ambiance is great, beautifully decorated. The meat, regardless of the type, was either of poor quality or incorrectly prepared. Too dry, too stringy, with fat and even bits. What a shame!
After being ushered upstairs from the bowling alley, we were immediately given a table for four. We waited about 10 minutes to order after looking at the menu. However, the wait for the food was far too long at 45 minutes for two goulash soups, one baked Camembert, one tomato salad, and two shrimp. Especially since other guests who arrived after us received their appetizers and main courses before we did. The tomato salad was truly pathetic: one large, sliced tomato with the core and five or six thin strips of onion. The waitress was very friendly. It was our first and last time there.
