We could have brough... read more We were there on a Sunday afternoon. We got a table outside right away without a reservation. There were four adults, one child, and a dog. We could have brought the dog inside, but it was just sand, so we stayed outside. We had pizza, a grilled platter, and schnitzel. Everything was delicious and the price was in line with normal island prices. They even catered to any food intolerances. The service seemed a bit snotty and cold at first, but it turned out to be wrong; it was very nice and even funny. Conclusion: I would definitely recommend it and eat there again when I'm on Norderney.

At the entrance, we were gr... read more Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. We had made a reservation six months in advance because we knew it would be very busy. At the entrance, we were greeted with only Hello?! and offered two tables either directly at the entrance or at the bar – but upon request, one inside was free. It took a full half hour before anyone came to us. Table water with wine was completely unknown, and after we had finished our meal and packed up the leftovers, our unfortunately completely overwhelmed waitress came to our table for the first time since ordering and asked if we had enjoyed our meal. We then refilled our wine ourselves. Unfortunately, we won 't be coming back here and can 't recommend the restaurant given the service and, at this point, the prices; you can just tell they no longer have a need for good service. It 's a shame.
