I visited here in the february with a friend of mine at the same time. I don't know if they speak English as I speak Italian, but eating was simple, but great. we ordered a Prosciutto plate, a 1/4 liter red wine, norcina and an amatriciana for...30 eur and had a nice time. it was loud, as the room was full of locals and workers on their lunch break. shortly after we arrived, everyone was full of table, they had turned on TV, but I think the volume was rejected. this place was not super unusual or formal, at least at midday, but if they drive through this city, I would definitely recommend stopping here for a meal.

I decided to have my lunch, my family, in this restaurant while I am back from Umbria. the place is very beautiful, near the river and few kilometers from norcia. the restaurant itself needs a renovation, as it is somewhat outdated. but what is important is what they serve them so if they do not pay attention to the atmosphere, stop and enjoy. the service is decent, but the dishes that they serve are sweet, generous and very well cooked. I personally suggest: as an appetizer the standard dish with different salami and typical cheese. as main course any kind of pasta with mushrooms and/or truffles (the gnocchi or fatty succinne.) as second dish, if they can still eat something, they try the local sausage, fantastic! the price corresponds to the total price, so consider 20/25€ per person for a complete eating, including wine. if you want to eat cheaper, they also serve a fixed menu with limited selection, but I recommend to go for free dishes selection. it is worth stopping there.

On the trip to norcia we stopped in this place already known before . you can eat also outdoor where the water flows that makes the place cool. a wide choice of appetizers is that of the house composed of cold frittatina salame and more is enough for two people. the first are different and the abundant portions. their strong point is the trout really good as well as the mixed grill and lentils with sausage. very fast in service even with the full room. good space between covid tables. good quality and price ratio

A few steps from norcia and cascia, on the edge of a stream, which flows generates freshness, you eat the excellent and abundant dishes of the restaurant, trout and lamb especially, not bad meat and cheese, to be recommended.

My mother who was well under the gazebo by Piero relaxed by the noise of the river lapped by a light wind that breaks the summer heat and that makes us enjoy even more than the dish of Italian appetizers. A delicious ascolan olives, one called the other. Excellent Norse pasta, superlative truffle dumplings and mushrooms. Very nice staff and hand price in the average, recommended for those who want a place aired after a walk in Norcia, or to those who just pass wants to remake or to faint
