Excellent coffee; amazing value meals and an a relaxed, welcoming and unhurried environment. It was so good that we went back for coffee on all three of our days in Noosa. Well recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Streets Of Harlem:
I can't comment on the whole cafe because I only stopped in for a couple of takeaway coffees on a hungover sunday morning. Maybe it was an honest mistake but the fellow that took my order charged me for 3 coffees when I was only getting 2. When I realised I mentioned it to the Barista and he just shrugged and said he would give me the right change and just said "it happens'. He never queried me or asked the original... What an eclectic little bar, mixed with a barbers shop??, the place to get your physic readings a coffee shop at the front (all others in the day) bar area is really small but staff are friendly, good mix of clientele on Saturday evening...with a local singer performing accompanied by one of the staff using a box as an accompaniment, great vibe, can recommend the white bubbles, lovely!
Most of the places to eat in Hastings street are decorated in a middle of the road way. Nothing too flashy. However Streets of Harlem has what many places in Hastins Street lack, charm and character. Not only can you sit in a comfy couch...or bench, but you read an excellent picture book, or even strum a guitar. The owner makes delicious coffee and I think if you want somewhere cook to hang out this is the place to go for. Thoroughly recommended.
I arrived to celebrated my birthday I am WAAAAAAAAAAAAY older than the folks who were there some walk-in guitar player and a very great group of folks with whom to chat was stunning. In a good way. Def worth a visit.
The Streets of Harlem is an eclectic little bar with loads of atmosphere and they often have a local musician playing on a Friday or Saturday night. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced.
... rest of the polished somewhat pseudo glam cafes of Hastings Street. Good Coffee in a very laid back way, food range limited but appealed to every one at the cafe it seemed. HARLEM'S darkish interior is complemented by the second hand mismatch...decor .... I think this place turns Noosa Glam on its head aims for a particular customer base that doesn't aim for contrived settles for genuine down to earth. I wouldn't be surprised if you tripped over a skateboard ... got the feel?
