The place is a little tired decor wise but the food was really good - we had a Guinness beef pie and Fish and Chips washed down with a cold glass of sparkling and a pint - staff friendly - good eat and pretty reasonable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sogo Bar:
The menu is scarce, but has interesting special offers for cheap food. The bar is loud as in the English-speaking area. We were happy to enjoy the meal on the terrace. We had burgers and they were good. View all feedback.
My eighth year competing and my first year captaining.
This pub looks great since the renovation. It has opened the interior up and it looks a lot larger now.I love the wooden bar.The staff are friendly and the food was reasonably priced.Happy hour is between and for cheap pints.....great spot!!
What I like most about the Sogo or Corner Stone as it is now known is that it is a family run pub, not owned by a multinational corporation being propped up by poker machines. The menu is small but the food is cheap, the...servings large and the meals usually of very good quality. The venue has recently changed hands and gone through a well needed update which was done on a budget but achieved a great result all in all. There is no smoking area which does the place no justice as patrons who wish to smoke stand out side at the bottom of the stairs basically on the corner of the main street in Noosa Junction, Unfortunately this can't really be fixed as the venue has limited space and would require a major change to accommodate a smoking area. There is no bistro' or public bar' areas separate which makes it a great venue to take your kids in for a meal provided they leave by There is regular live entertainment and this is probably the only place left in Noosa that has any heart and soul !! If you want a cheap meal, friendly staff, and relaxed atmosphere with no attitude this is the place to visit.
My husband and I came here after reading the reviews. We figured it can’t be too bad however we were very wrong. The bottom of the parmigiana was so burnt that you couldn’t taste the fake chicken masquerading as a Parma. Wouldn’t come back to...this place, the service was slow and overall we were left disappointed
Always happy to give, now Cornerstone, a plug. Staff are all long term and very good. A pint of gold for you can't beat it. Try the beer burger lunch cheap and good.
