Family had a mix of crumbed snapper, calamari, sea scallops and chips. All beautifully fresh and cooked perfectly. Friendly staff, shop is busy but efficient, so produce is turned over quickly, is popular with the locals and is very reasonably priced. What's not to like. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Noosaville Fish Market:
Bought fisherman's basket - came with only 1 prawn and 1 scallop, a few calamari. Potato scallops were very oily as we're fish bites. Paid $10 for red Emporia and it was so tough it couldn't be finished. Too oily and not fresh. View all feedback.
So happy to find a fish chip store that sells fish fillets with gf crumb and gf chips that are actually cooked in a separate deep frit. also pleasantly surprised to see whitebait fritters on the menu. the gf and not GF food we ordered were all fantastic. that could not blame!
Twice we recently bought fish and chips from noosaville fish market. the first portion of the whistle (4 pieces) was boiled hard and dry. the skallops were fat and fat. Last night we tried to think that the last buy was just one....Wrong! the chips were overboiled, dry and hard, tasty. a piece of papageienfisch was rubbery and unpalatable. who cooks this chaos needs a lection, how to cook fish and chips. they used to have beautiful fish and chips. will never go there again. a very expensive waste of money for a very bad quality of a meal. try them noosa marina next time.
When I moved to noosa in 2015, this was loading in a small hut further along the road. since the conversion to their new location their prices have gone up and in recent times the quality of food is not as good as. it used to be. I ordered the vegetarian burger regularly, but not again. who cooked it last time, loaded it with salad and it had no taste where they were great as before. I told the owner that he said it was a new staff he was quite dismissed what I said. there were some places since , but tonight 13/1/22 the order had no taste and was worth over $40 bad in future looking elsewhere. I think they are charging more because they pay a large rental in this load.
During a seaside holiday, many people crave a classic meal of fish and chips. With plenty of options to choose from in Noosaville, we decided to try the Noosaville Fish Market for a traditional take-away experience. We were not disappointed. The portions were generous and the seafood was fresh and expertly cooked. We thoroughly enjoyed the snapper, prawn cutlets, and squid rings. The meal was satisfying, without the usual heaviness that can come with deep-fried food. For those who prefer to cook their own seafood, the market also offers a variety of fresh options to take home. Overall, a pleasant dining experience during our holiday.
We enjoyed our meals of grilled snapper and sweet potato fries. On a cool rainy day they were a treat. Efficient service and reasonable value. The image of their old premises definitely does not match the new location so do not go looking for that...shop front; though the bearded angler is still there.
