My wife and I often stay in Noosa and every time we are there we dine at Montezuma often. We and the rest of our family always enjoy their meals. Good service and good food at reasonable prices. My wife loves the three dips while I am a large beef nachos guy. Thoroughly recommend this Mexican restaurant. indeed tonight another group, a family of 6 commended the waitress on the excellent food quality. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Montezuma's Noosa Heads:
Come on chef a can of diced tomatoes on corn chips does not a nachos make! Dreadful and expensive. Both meals that we ordered were barely recognisible. Sorry for the thumbs down, maybe Montezuma is a happening place and we just got a chef in a bad mood. View all feedback.
Love Mexican and the setting above and with a view of Hastings St was good. But not the best food - not enough flavour and no fish tacos!

So very disappointed about my dinner last night. We have been eating at Montezuma restaurants for over twenty five years and although we now prefer the lighter fresh style of Mexican, (which we have eaten at many places around the world, )we thought we would revisit for a yummy nostalgic Tex Mex meal after a long day swimming. What a waste of time and money. The waitress who served us was surly and most disinterested in providing friendly service. The corn chips that were served with the warm cheese dip were very stale and not heated, when we spoke to the waitress she argued with us that they were ok without trying them, she then finally came out with a new serve and agreed that they hadn't been heated well and the bag was left open!!!The second serve were equally as stale which went well with the horribly curdled cheese dip.The nachos was ok.The salad that came with the Texas beef enchiladas was the only fresh thing we received, and was tasty as it has always been. The enchilada had a decent amount of filling but had half melted gluey cheese.Overall a very dismal disapointing meal. The owner showed no interest in our feedback other than to say the chips are often stale as the bag in the box gets split open????You could have saved this bad review if you had taken ownership of serving us stale food.
If you want a Coles packet microwave dinner go here. This place is the worst mexican ive eatan in all my travels around the world. It does mention all food is fresh daily , yes i agree from the packet. Do not eat at this place. Even the birds didnt eat it.Food presentation looks like dog food out of a can. Eat there at your risk! Service is rude.
My wife and I were looking for a quick and hassle-free dinner after a busy day. Montezuma checked all the boxes for us. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the Mexican food was of high quality, and they had a great selection of wine and beer. We enjoyed our meal on the terrace while watching a thunderstorm in the evening. To top it off, the prices were very reasonable, especially for Hasting Street.
