Locale - Noosaville

Table for 8, our last night of holidays. A drink in the bar followed by dinner. The atmosphere was lovely and the service good. The white tablecloths and dark surroundings added to the upmarket feel of the establishment. We were not disappointed with the evening....More

This place is a lot bigger inside than out and is split into a bar and restaurant section.Quite a bit of noise from the bar side intrudes into the restaurant but adds to the atmosphere. Friendly efficient staff...and full tables when we were there on a Friday night.Food with nice but lacked any wow factor.

My Wife and another couple enjoyed Dinner at Locale on Bastille day. The Restaurant was busy, however, the service was friendly and efficient.Two had Duck and two had Risotto and we tasted our Partners meals. The Duck was delicious while my friend loved the Risotto, I enjoyed it but thought it was a little to'wet'. Dessets were very good. We would go back again.

This is the second time I have eaten at Locale, about a year apart. Both times were great. It was a Saturday night during the Alive festival so we were fortunate to get a table. We were seated at one of the higher, narrow tables in the bar area and despite the place being full and also being close to the live music we were easily able to hear each other. Gorav (sp?) played the guitar beautifully and sang a fantastic selection of crowd pleasers. We could have listened to him all night but the kids wanted to head to Massimos for dessert. Waiters were friendly and helpful. Food was beautiful. My friends who ordered the gluten free pasta were raving about how great it was!

Enjoyed a late lunch here - food is excellent, as is the service. The wine list is extensive. Will be coming back!
