What User doesn't like about Franschhoek Cellar:
A lovely venue and excellent wines. We particularly recommend the unwooded Chardonnay. However we tasted the white wines first. Thereafter, the 3 red wines were poured in our uncleaned white wine glasses, which is totally unacceptable. It degraded the tasting experience. View all feedback.
Really good, we lubricated pinotage and chardonnay weeping and had an amazing cheese plate with them. big wee, well presented and comprehensive cheese, brot and top selection. worth visiting and a much better lunch than in the city. great service. directly next to the tram
Nice wine cellar with a good restaurant. The food is good and there is a large play area for the kids.
One of the greatest boards I’ve had. Everything tasted so AMAZING. The nuts were the best I’ve had And of course the wine was great too!
Breakfast is great value for money with decent size portions. You have to add the avo as an extra when ordering the eggs benny, it's worth it. The French toast is packed with bacon and all the sweet stuff and fruit. The coffee can be a bit better (too weak) Bonus is the beautiful mountains and vineyard views.
