We have the all inclusive plan, an... read more The server was friendly, but the food was not good. There were very few choices and the food we tried had very little flavor. We have the all inclusive plan, and the Agave manager tried to argue that we didn’t, was rude and took his time connecting with the front desk to straighten everything out. This was the only place we’ve had a problem with our all inclusive plan on the entire resort. He claimed the front desk was the issue but when all was said and done, we stopped by there and they weren’t aware of any issue or even a call from that restaurant. It was very strange and frustrating. We have tried all of the other restaurants here, and they are all very good. This one was disappointing to say the least.

We ordered an appeti... read more We are staying at the Holiday Inn and as part of the all inclusive had free dining at Agave, which is one of the on site restaurants there. We ordered an appetizer, something shrimp based, and a couple of entrees and a meal from the kids menu. All dishes were sub par and I can honestly say this was one of the worst Mexican food we have eaten. It was excessively salted and that was the only flavor we could taste in all the dishes. One of the dish was a Fajita and the dish came out cold even though the plate was hot. The Octopus was served on black tortilla chips, which completely killed the appetite as it was hard to tell if the thing was burnt. The chicken tacos from the kids menu was just boiled chicken with a bunch of table salt. Our kid could not get past her first bite. Would not recommend getting dinner here.
