Halari Orchid - Nongpoh

Plenty of parking space.Nice place to have food and also it allow ample place for kids to play and enjoy. Sitting arrangement in restaurant is good, spacious with enough air and light.Food is fresh and tasty. The taste is just different form the regular places.I am quite sure people will enjoy it.In comparison, found this place to have more valve against the money paid.Good Service by the staff. Loved the place.

This restaurant is in Niangbyrnai, on the way to Shillong. We stopped there for a late lunch in the afternoon. The food served is really good and service is excellent. The restaurant is clean and the ambience is good. They have sufficient parking space. Someone will clean your car while you eat. The restrooms are clean and well maintained.

I had visited this place a number of times. A small brook flows beside the resort, making it all the more beautiful. Parking space is large. Kids can play in the open space infront. Food is average. Chola Batora in the morning was very good. Naan s were also very tasty, but a bit overpriced at Rs. 70/- per piece. Chicken hyderabadi ordered was very bad in taste. Rest average....

I have visited this restaurant several times and have always been impressed with their excellent service and high quality food. Whenever we are passing through Shillong, Meghalaya on our way back from Guwahati, we make sure to stop there and are never disappointed.
