The BOT brings back some great memories I had in the late 70s and early 80s. Nice to see that it is still alive and kicking for feature generations of parties .

Most of a week in Nome schneit, between a bar stool in the Board of Trade Saloon and the Polar Cub Inn, early spring of '78, as I remember. In the spring of the previous year, a poor old man from a snow bench was on the same route. Seems he came out of the BOT well acquitted against the cold A bit too well acquitted as he went out in a snow bench before his destination. It snowed something terrible this night and soon the poor guy was covered and frozen to death (not released pretty good enough? He was missing until he got out of the snowbank next spring! At least this is the story that the old timers of the BOT told me (21 years old child when I exaggerated every nunt,
