A quick stop for a pre-dinner snack, the place was almost full so we were offered to sit in a narrow corner, using a kind of wooden wine box as table, very unco... read more A quick stop for a pre-dinner snack, the place was almost full so we were offered to sit in a narrow corner, using a kind of wooden wine box as table, very uncomfortable accommodation indeed. We spotted some people leaving a table so we moved there and the situation improved a little. Ordering: we were not given a wine list but only requested of what wine we would like (red, white, sparkling, still, dry, round and so on.. until we accepted the owner's suggestions: a gewurtztraminer and a local red wine. Finally two glasses of wine (mine, the red wine, was not much really and a few snacks (some cold cuts, olives, very thin slices of focaccia ligure with a cold ambiance for 5 euros each are just worth the fairly low price. We felt we were not really welcomed, but honestly teh wine was good. Just worth stopping once.

We were surprised w... read more This wine shop and bar was an exceptional find for us! There are tables on the square where one is served apero, wines, beer or soft drinks. We were surprised with a complimentary platter of local cheese, meat, olives and bread. The owners are lovely and friendly. One can also stock up on local pestos, olives, oils, wines and other treats before you leave!
