Not much to say other than that, after years of sampling ice cream in Italy, this is for me the best gelato I have ever tasted. Add to that the beautiful setting, in Noli 's cobbled backstreets only 100 yards from the beachside promenade, and friendly staff happy to let you 'taste before you buy ' and you have a place that you want to come back to time and again.
We were there several times in different years. The ice is really delicious. Especially the Swiss Chocolate Ice with chocolate from Felchlin the best. And the 'Amandes ' ... a dream really.
Absolutely wonderful! Sadly after October 1 they only open on weekends. Amazing flavors! The cups are a tiny bit too small, so on a warm day the ice cream melts quickly down your hand! It’s so good p, you might just try and catch every last drop!
The food is really good; I was very pleased with the rare grilled steak. Kudos to Mario, the waiter, for his friendliness and efficiency!
