We had the fantasia carpaccio as antipasti and were really disappointed about the few slices of smoked dried swordfish, tuna and salmon, wich laid lonely, desol... read more We had the fantasia carpaccio as antipasti and were really disappointed about the few slices of smoked dried swordfish, tuna and salmon, wich laid lonely, desolately and smelling fishy on a plate. But the following spaghetti alle vongole as primo piatto could give us some solace. They had everything they needed to give us hope for the rest of the evening. Fresh vongole, spaghetti, parsley, garlic and nothing to spoil the perfect taste of this combination. When the remarkably friendly and helpful waitress served the catch of the day alla ligure, we were impressed. The accompanying sauce and vegetables could have had a little more taste. But the really fresh fish was perfectly cooked, soft, tender and juicy and it didn't need much more than some of the tasty olive oil, the restaurant provides, to make us perfectly happy again. If the antipasto hadn't been this disappointing, I would have given 4 points for the excellent cooked fish and the nice staff.
