Au Crep'Uscule - Noirmoutier-en-l'Île

We are not quite in Brittany, but close enough to have fine galettes and worthy cider. As with most every breton creperie we have tried, the variations are extensive and the prices are modest. The artisanal ice cream is ok but not extraordinary. Better to stick with a crepe dessert with your choice of toppings. It is lovely to sit outside on a sunny afternoon close by the boats in the harbor. A very pleasant luncheon option.

Nice position right on the harbour (if you are with kids, of if you're drunk: yes, there is a sheer drop from the promenade on the sea wall down to water level, 20 feet at low tide or 6 feet at high tide, with no wall or railings whatsoever nothing to to with the restaurant, but mind your kids! . Galettes and crepes are homemade and it shows. Good choice of fillings and friendly service. Recommended.

Not the greatest lunch took forever to get served and when the kids food arrived it was the type that Jamie Oliver campaigned hard to have removed from school menus. Fish soup and galette were fine but no better than that really.

Crêperie située face au port, aucune circulation de voiture, très calme et agréable emplacement.Accueil sympathique (sans réservation), service au top: rapide et souriant! Assiettes adultes et enfants très appétissantes et bonnes; tarifs corrects.

Salées ou sucrées, les crêpes sont délicieuses, bien garnies. Recettes classiques ou originales, toute notre famille a pu choisir selon les goûts des uns et des autres. Avec l'expérience, l'accueil de la patronne s'est réchauffé.
