La Fontana - Nördlingen

You sit in the historical core of nördlingen; very full, very good attentive service despite high-powered. very good bruschetta; great penne a la casa for 7,50€. to recommend

We have ordered the pizza, but it was a disappointment, as many locals in Germany behind the Italian name try to meet the kitchen, at least regarding pizza, we are not really there. prices in tune with other places in the environment.

After our historical tour through the old town of nördlingen we wanted to eat a little bite. we were just at the corns and found the beautiful red house so inviting that we spontaneously came here. we also liked the rustic interior of the former past chalk store. Although at midday we found a table right in front of the large pizza wood stove. So what was closer to ordering a freshly prepared pizza rukula. my man chose spagetti aglio e olio a tasty delicate cellar beer.Beide dishes were tasty, with the spagetti portion was a bit economical.Too happy my man had no great hunger!The price/performance ratio was fine, however.I would give a rating of good, would be nice if tripadvisors would take this into his rating scale!

During a visit to nördlingen we had to experience our worst service experience in gastronomy today.When three of us were finished with the medium pizza, we were still waiting for a lasagne. as a waitress has worn a lasagne to an adjacent table we were attentive. especially when the lady left the lasagne, after which she had already begun to eat, to go back. short crisis session between the hired and outing to the kitchen. shortly after, our lasagne came to the table without comment. cut and snapped. after we discussed whether we should really believe this, the waitress came already a long way that we noticed something and took the lasagne back to the kitchen without comment. 10 minutes then the lasagne (about half a portion) came back. Then we put the waitress to talk. She admitted everything and wanted to offer us an espresso to compensate and pushed the blame on her younger colleagues (which had nothing to do with our observation after all). an apologies did not exist, even after speaking out or after paying the bill. mistakes can happen but this extraordinarily tribal behavior deserves in my eyes the note inadequate.

The hotel is located in the old chalkboard in the middle of the city. good ambiente indoors and outdoors with beautiful weather. good selection of pasta and pizza to very cheap trips. relaxed Italian staff, so do not expect a fast service. not only for tourists, because local food is here, that speaks for itself.
