Gelateria Tiziano - Nördlingen

On 03.08.2016 we wanted to have the day sounded nicely after a stroll around the city to finish in the gelateria tiziano. we were not even greeted by an obviously very miserable chefin; in fact only wordless was our order accepted. among other things we ordered an ice cup mocca. he came after a few minutes and obviously had nothing to do with the one already visually depicted in the map. in a light brown sose sponge probably as a bit like ice, garnished by a squirrel and 2 keksröllchen. with the attached ice spoon it was not acceptable. could you have been drinking? But I hadn't ordered an ice cream. irritated I took the served and inquired me at the theke what that should be. a young lady explained that you always do that. you take an iceball and tilt a cup of hot coffee over it - and that would be the ice cup mocca ( !?) thank you I was served, read the mocha-what- also always stick to the counter. 2 minutes after my complaint, an older man stood next to us, clearly outraged, that we did not agree to his creation and wanted to text us in a proper way. we thanked, just asked us to rest and demanded the bill. the came, including a cup mocca, no word of the declaration, no alternative offer - nothing. we paid, even the ice-cream mocca, without having received it at all, just because we wanted our rest. my companions consumed their ice-cream, in tiziano they did not arrange any alternatives to offer. around the corner there was another ice cream. there I received the desired ice cup within 2 minutes and sat with this again to our group before the tiziano. no 2 minutes after that sounded behind the counter of the tizianois desert screamed and we should immediately disappear from its ice cream. the cry was that we ate at his table now as replacement of the ice cup mocca, an ice cup of competition. that we had drinks and other ice cups from his local paid and still took us, did not interested. We should get out of here, or he'll get the police. to my note that he should like to do this, I received in response to the most insults in Italian.After I drew attention to the obvious chief of the house that the common insults are known to me in his country language, I could understand him and therefore recommended to moderate, his insults were even more ulcer and his gesticulation even more wild in dreadful. Perhaps we had to thank his obvious wife for not having happened worse, as she cried him and obviously held back.The fact that the gelateria tiziano cannot be recommended not least for the reasons of one of the extremely uncontrollable and at least also for the verbal violence of chefs is a question. But perhaps this is already known in nördlingen, because only after that we noticed that the competitor around the corner had a full house with guests, because we were the only guests in the gelateria tiziano at the same time.

The tiziano scores with its location in the old town - here really comes "tout nördlingen". the service is casual, in order. the ice card offers the classic, so solid standard. the espresso was quite good Italian, therefore a point more to "very good"

The "gelateria tiziano" lies in the middle of the old town nördlingens, near the old rathaus and surrounded by historically important houses. correspondingly large are the tourist in the surrounding alleys and the visitor frequency in this ice cream. from the many number of guests, however, to conclude that the offered ice is a special speciality, would be a mistake. the portions - we had a black forest beaker and a spaghetti ice cream - are quite rich, but unfortunately the taste of the ice is only cut through, which sauces are sweetened (probably industrial products). the service is in order - however little attentive and remnants a strong one between the tightly standing tables and chairs (instead of going around the outside). the most beautiful is the atmosphere of sitting in front of the gelateria and enjoying the flair of the old town and watching the flanking tourist.
