This is a fantastic, hidden gem of a fish and chip shop. Their chips, in particular, are incredibly delicious, boasting a perfect crispiness and a fluffy center. Don't forget to ask for chicken salt! Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Blue Wave Fish Chips:
The grilled fish I ordered looked like it had been carelessly thrown on the grill, and it tasted bland, almost like cardboard. The potato cakes and chips were drenched in oil. I ended up paying $27, which just felt like a waste.
I hope that anyone reading this will avoid the mistakes I made, and I sincerely wish the restaurant owners take the initiative to improve in the future. View all feedback.
Best place for hot chips and home made potato cakes. If you like your chips and potato cake extra crispy on the outside and super fluffy on the inside, I would highly recommend this place. Decently priced too! Have not tried the fish yet.
Good food, they close by 8 pm. It's the only fish and chips in the small nook they are in. Very friendly staff and always helpful.
The food was too salty and burnt. I have never had burnt flake in my life until I ordered from this place. Absolutely disgusting! Never again.
