We had been to Aztec in Broadbeach years ago and we were staying in Surfers so we decided to try Montezumas. We were a bit put off by the bad reviews but tried it anyway and I am so glad we did! I was able to order a half serving of the nachos which was perfect for me only $12! My parents and my partner were also thrilled with their meals, and we had a voucher where you got one meal free so for 4 meals it only cost $... View all feedback.
On the day we visited, there was a promotion for two main dishes for the price of one—what a great deal! We ordered the Chicken Mexican and the Montezuma Delight. I shared the meal with a girlfriend, and it was more than enough for us. We enjoyed a big and delicious dinner!
We always enjoy visiting Montezumas. The chorizo enchilada is incredible! I also appreciate the atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling or staying on the coast.
I absolutely love Montezuma's! While I know it's more of a westernized take on Mexican cuisine, I often find myself craving their dishes. The food is delicious and addictive, always served hot. Plus, since it's affordable, it's easy to keep returning. This particular location has a lovely, dim outdoor space that's perfect for humid evenings. The portion sizes are generous, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant is casual and laid-back.
Tried an enchilada and the nachos, both were very good portion sizes and delicious. Came out hot from the oven, it was rather difficult to wait for the food to cool down a bit before we could dig in. We also tried the sangria which was average tasting. Average service.
Great little venue, very busy.Meals are good size, our eyes were too big for our stomachs and we could not finish the meal. Great staff and service. A good night!
