Shanghai Buffet - Nixa

The Jalapeno Chicken is THE BEST! I order it extra spicy and it has plenty of jalapenos and really is something to try! Love the Lo Mein too! When you go thru the drive thru it is made fresh to order!

We were unimpressed with the food, which sat for a long time. The fresh vegetables turned brown. We will probably choose to go to other places in the future.

I have been dining at Shanghai since it opened, and I absolutely love the Shanghai shrimp! The owners are very friendly and speak excellent English. I have also worked there, so I can confirm that the restaurant is clean. If you ever have an issue with an order, just bring it back to them, and they will make it right. They genuinely want to ensure their paying customers are happy. I'm sure whoever left the negative comment didn’t take the time to do that.

My family and I have started going to Canton Buffet down the street instead. They are much friendlier, cleaner, and more honest. While their prices might be about 50 cents higher, it's worth it for the greater variety and better service. I really dislike dishonest practices and subpar food. Please avoid eating at Shanghai Buffet. If you don’t believe my experience, I encourage you to ask for a written receipt; they might fabricate one, as neither of the owners speaks English very well, so make sure to double-check it.
