The walls ins... read more We saw the sign from the road and the outside looked outdated. However, sometimes appearance are deceiving. That is an understatement for Diehl’s. The walls inside are adorned with license plates, NASCAR photos, memorabilia as well as cowboy film stars and memorabilia. It’s totally different. We went for lunch and the menu selections were amazing. The menu features salads, sandwiches and meal entrees. And it’s all homemade. My significant other ordered a chicken sandwich, which said was delicious. She also ordered a “slice” of homemade coconut pie. Slice is the operative word. It was huge. I ordered fried chicken livers, homemade cole slaw and cottage cheese, with fresh homemade rolls. Kyra waited on us and she was beyond exceptional. The chicken livers portion was huge enough for two people. The dining experience was outstanding. If we were are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop.

It’s been run by the same family for many years. The walls are covered in all kinds of things, pictures etc….lots are cool to check out.

Aaron Diehl has to be the most hateful looking man to run a restaurant, he is rude and some of the employees in the past said they left because they was treated bad my him and his wife. I can believe that. The place is clean and the food is good but way over priced. The waitstaff is okay not friendly like it was when Steve and Jan Diehl had the business. The owners needs a crash course in being nice, friendly, smiling and making customers feel welcomed. Gave this restaurant 3 visits all visits remained the same no changes.if you like good food but crappy management this is the place to dine.

At times, in the past year or two, the staff and taste/ quality of the food have seemed to be on the decline. Part of our takeout order that was paid for was not included. This was not a large or difficult order.
