Meconi's Italian Subs - Feedback

What John C doesn't like about Meconi's Italian Subs:
The facility is clean and efficient with rapid service. I ordered a salami sandwich. It was exceedingly bland and tasteless. I picked a piece of salami and ate it separately and would not have been able to tell it was salami by its taste since it essentially had no flavor. The same was true for the cheese and bread. Easily the best sub shop in Olympia, although there really isn't much competition, if any. Subway is a contender, for example. Meconi's from what I understand, was founded by transplants who missed big city food. It shows. These are the subs I would take you to if you wanted a sub and were in town from any major city.
