It's kind of like this to taste in the kitchen of this famous and traditional nîmes restaurant. It's not sophisticated, it's regional, it can be irregular, but when it's good. It's a good value for money!
Simple and effective. good products well cooked! The bull's **** is excellent. and the atmosphere of the old restaurant is pleasant
We took an excellent dish of bull gardiaine, copied, for a very reasonable price. the service is of quality, and the owner yet aged but well dynamic is always present in the room listening to its customers.
We were well received by a dynamic and friendly old lady who recommended the specialties of the house: the terrine, the mussels in a nicolas way and the bull's gardiae, the small wine of country, everything was good. Finally the assortment of sorbets was a simple but nice dessert to finish this rich meal.
It would seem to have come back to the good old times: the decoration that has not changed, the owner, the old traditional recipes of the Provencal cuisine, the generosity in the plates, the service quite professional (to lift the nets of a fish). We're thrilled.Habitué and tourists still live together without problems.
