Our visit to nimes was to take in the old town, so we used only once the cafe and for a simple evening meal. that was the night after the Roman play, and the staff had run away from the feet all day. anyway. we were fast and polite, and only one article was no longer on the menu. the special menu included even gourmet tea and coffee, which was a pleasant surprise.
I was brought to have to have lunch several days in a row at the restaurant of the Novotel-Atria hotel of nîmes: a correct setting in harmony with the novotel concept. nice table with cloth towels (appreciable). each time, at noon precise, the staff and tables were not quite ready. some servers and waitresses run in every direction even from the beginning of the service, while nothing justifies it!. there is a cruel lack of organisation in this restaurant where panic seems to reign in the room as in the kitchen (open on the dining room). the staff is not particularly unpleasant but is not at all smiling because in permanent panic! He really misses a room leader to coordinate all this joyous mess! and service is long, very long. the dishes are correct, worthy of a good brewery, although some dishes are a little small in quantity in respect of the price. In short, this restaurant is not at all at the height of a four-star hotel! When leaving the room, you want to give a lexomil tablet to the staff, and to take oneself, so the atmosphere is made electric by this staff who demen, and at the limit of incompetence.
Good lunch. a flat menu plus gourmet coffee at 14€ without drinks. dishes rather good but service lacks motivation.
The restaurant offers a variety of menus. The dishes are tasty and the service is rather fast.
