La Bodeguita - Nîmes

We had a great dinner tonight! we have booked a table-tru tripvisor for 18:30. (kitchen opens around 19 o'clock) (on the way the restaurant is easy to find and actually close to a deep garage) we had eat and drink and we love all of them! we will definitely return to this amazing restaurant when we are in the city (or close) not only because of their food, but also the service. very friendly and helpful staff.

Stay in the hotel so that the restaurant was a practical choice. it was quite full so that had a good atmosphere. the food was merely and quite disappointing little choice for vegetarian, so had in the round cheese and brot. that is a very comfortable place to eat when staying in the hotel. large decoration

The salad Poke Bowl is described as a fresh salad and that on a hot day is very tempting, so we ordered 1 salad Poke Bowl, it was served in a vase and this vase was for 3/4 is filled with quinoa and 1/4 is...rocket salad there were 2 slices of tomato and 2 slices of avocado and a few cubes of salmon no dressing or something like that. the server's tip was to pour the fresh salad on the plate good idea though the plate was so hot it probably just came out of the dishwasher. The salad Thai Midi was OK not special. The waitress was very nice even when we told her that we were not satisfied with the Poke Bowl she had heard the complaint before and passed it on to the kitchen, but she told us that it might be better to tell the boss, who was standing next to her. We called him in. He the boss reacted laconically and he didn't care, he was also too busy putting in packages of parquet flooring (read throwing the packages on the floor next to us). It was a disappointment and I wouldn't recommend it 1, 2, 3 to eat there, although the terrace looks cosy.

Sat down on the sofa with my son and chose a cocktail each but the waiter moved us to a regular table as ours was reserved (he found the reserved sign from under the menus?). Whilst we sat at our new table, our sofa was taken by two young women with no obvious agreement of reservation. They were then brought snacks and gave their drink orders. The women then got their drinks and we still hadn't been served. We left! And we're served at Danieli two doors down (and we sat on their sofa!!)

This is THE PLACE to go if you want enjoy your evening with an apetizer. Nice place, fantastic, cheerfuland competent service, very very good tapas, good and fresh cocktails served with a smile, nice ambience music. What else to enjoy your early or late evening in one of the nicest squares of Nimes. With friends, or coupledon't hesitate, Don't miss it, and Enjoy!!!!
