If you are looking for a magical little late night escape in a cross between a European cafe and somebody's comfy living room, this is the place. The service is super relative, the chairs are sink-in comfortable, and the menu offers everything from big dinners to little bites and pastries from the adjacent Greek bakery. What sniper007 bigboss doesn't like about Papagalino Cafe:
7 years coming to this place which was an amazing place to spend time with friends BUT......today I was shocked with New PRICES with the same menu, 20% tip is included no matter what you order, HIGH PRICES , that was insane. View all feedback.
Decided to try this place based on reviews. Really cute atmosphere inside. Our server was fine except hard to understand. I ordered a ham and cheese panini which was good but very greasy and had an outer crust which was very salty! My husband ordered a turkey club and requested whole grain bread instead of the standard white toast. He said it was okay but he should have ordered a different cheese instead of the tasteless American cheese that was used. AND because he requested a different bread there was an added $1.05 convenience tax!! if the cost of coffee at $4.50 (really?-we declined) wasn 't enuff, then that tax was all we needed to take this eatery off our list. I did like that they serve chips and olives with the sandwich instead of the standard fries and a pickle but we get a much tastier bill of fare just up the street at Niles Family Grill at half the cost of this place.

The service is super relative, the chairs are sink-in comfortable, and the menu offers everything from big dinners to little bites and pastries from the adjacent Greek bakery. As a vegetarian, I could wish for a few more vegetables on the menu, but the spanakopita, beans in tomato sauce, pita and tzatsiki, and hummus do the trick for me. They now have outdoor dining as well, but the charm of the restaurant with its eclectic artwork scattered all over is not to be missed.
Delicious food! Great portions. Super fresh and hot. Super excellent service by everyone on staff. My server gave the perfect amount of attention and service. I felt very comfortable dining alone then when my family came it was no problem to move outside to enjoy the weather at a different table. Increase in diners at dinner time but not too noisy. Seems to be very popular with community and/or medium to large groups of returning guests consisting of families and friends. Everyone was professional and attentive to the diners. Beautifully designed interiors with clean bathrooms. Also, diagonal parking space in front makes it convenient to park.
