Mango - Niles
Mango
Description
Mango blends lively nightlife, a Mediterranean menu and a dedicated hookah lounge into a spirited Chicago hangout. Generous, reasonably priced plates—shawarma and shrimp kebab—pair with affordable hookah, live bands, a dance floor and a full bar. Many guests praise welcoming staff and standout servers, but experiences vary: service can be inconsistent or rude, some dishes are bland or feel overpriced, ventilation is imperfect, and ID-checking/enforcement is uneven. Best suited for groups, nightlife and hookah fans seeking a social, music-forward evening.

When the food arrived, we ordered seven meals but found them completely lacking in flavor. We joked about perhaps having Covid since nothing tasted like anything. We ended up going elsewhere for dessert, which was fantastic. In summary, while the atmosphere was nice, the policy made it frustrating for the waitstaff and the food was disappointing. We suggest spending your money somewhere else.
I visited this restaurant to try something new, and it truly surpassed our expectations! Our group of eight, including seniors and children, enjoyed the food immensely. The appetizers and main courses were fantastic, making it the best local Mediterranean spot we've found. The service was excellent as well! I highly recommend giving it a try and sharing the word!
The best food in the Chicago area! The owners and staff are wonderful! The food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend coming here to enjoy a great meal!
It's my first time to come here to check the place out. It says they close at 2am. I came in at 10pm. Then they say restaurant is closed. So they close early whenever they want to. Order steak and chicken tacos! worst ever you would think you were coming to nice Hispanic restaurant to get real Mexican food with all the themes around but in reality it was version of a pita inn! or more like Egyptian middle eastern owner's nephew was the cook.... he didn't even look like a cook he had on regular clothes and was roaming around drinking take shots the cooks/chef supposed to be in the kitchen! WHAT A WAIST OF MONEY!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL
Ambiance is great , service is quick starts off with tortilla chips and 3 varieties of salsa . We were 2 very light eaters so we didn't bother to order another Lol. So for the main we ordered pollo and carna which are basically chicken and steak fajitas basically , they were good not great and slightly over priced and ordered 2 margaritas on the rocks. Over all I'll give a a 2.5 to 3 out of
