Description

Eastern Buffet in Niles, Ohio (near Eastwood Mall) offers a tidy, family-run buffet with broad Chinese and American comfort fare — sushi, seafood, salad and dessert bars — at strong value. Guests praise the fresh selection, attentive staff and spacious, comfortable dining, though some note occasional gaps in replenishment and uneven dishes; one hygiene lapse was reported but resolved. Overall a reliable, budget-friendly spot for families and buffet lovers seeking variety.

I absolutely love a buffet, especially a Chinese buffet. The Eastern Buffet in Niles Ohio (by the Eastwood Mall) is one of my favorites. I like this particular restaurant because I’ve always had a good dining experience here. The Buffet is always well kept and clean, the staff is always tending to it. The buffet itself has a nice offering of popular Chinese “comfort” food as well as American comfort food. It has a nice salad bar, awesome dessert bar sushi roll bar. Everything from the buffet is amazing tasty, there is something for everyone. I also enjoy how quickly you are greeted sat at your table or booth. My waitress quickly got my drink order directed me to the buffet. When I returned my drinks silverware were waiting for me. She would come and check on me every few minutes to top off my drink or take away my dirty plates. I really enjoy dining here and will continue to enjoy a solid buffet experience. If you love a great Chinese buffet, you must give this place a try.

Now for the best part: they didn’t offer us a towel, just a stack of napkins. Then they brought us an absolutely disgusting towel—which we declined. When I spoke to the manager about the situation, she offered us a $4.20 discount for our embarrassing experience. I found that completely inadequate, so they comped our meal instead. To sum it up, we didn’t even touch the fortune cookie. I suggest that anyone thinking of dining there either wear a raincoat, galoshes, or bring an umbrella. As for me, I won't be returning, even with a change of clothes.

Fantastic food! This buffet offers the largest variety of Chinese dishes I've ever encountered. I tried around 15-16 different options, and every single one was delicious! The service was excellent as well. I also want to mention that the entire restaurant was spotlessly clean!
