Despite the long walk and our hunger, my non-vegan friends were willing to go the extra distance because the place was so nice. Unfortunately, many of the vegan options were unavailable when I visited. However, I did enjoy a coffee with plant-based milk and yokan, which was delicious.

They offer a variety of vegan desserts and coffee made with vegetable milk. While there weren't many vegan options on the lunch menu, it's still a great place to stop for a drink after visiting the temples and before heading out of the forest.

I got an iced matcha latte and the yomogi dango. Lovely place.
