Το Στεκι - Nicosia

Long established casual kebab dining open for lunch and dinner. Nothing wow but decent. Service a bit slow and prices a bit more than you would expect from a casual place.

The worst T Bone we have ever tried. Bad baking and miserable smell. Most importantly, no apology from the person in charge. The price of this is € 18.75 !!! Too bad because it is located in a central part of the city. Also in a Cyprus that produces excellent potatoes at least they should be served fresh and not frozen !!! Το χειρότερο Τ Bone που έχουμε δοκιμάσει ποτε . Κακό ψήσιμο και άθλια μυρωδιά . Το βασικότερο όλων ούτε μια συγνώμη από την υπεύθυνη. Η τιμή αυτού 18,75€ !!! Κριμα διότι βρίσκεται σε κεντρικό σημείο της πόλης . Επίσης σε μια Κύπρο που παράγει εξαιρετικές πατάτες τουλάχιστον θα έπρεπε να σερβίρονται φρέσκες και όχι κατεψυγμένες !!!

The food was very delicious. the personal was friendly and took all precautions of the covid. (wearing masks and keep distance) in the center of nicosia. large parking space next to the restaurant. great for a group of friends, but also for families.

This restaurant is excellent. it is at the more “Greek” end of the coast away from the bars, but closer to other restaurants. eating is authentic and you can taste that it is all fresh and not cheap “tourist” Freezer specialities like so many other places. the portions are large and excellent for money. the owner is friendly, but has passion to be the best restaurant in the opposite and it is absolute. it is a few hundred meters off the coast of “Hotel Mimossa” in the right direction as they look at the hotel with sea behind them. a special for the weekend is made to house brot served with olive, tomato and feta cheese with beautiful garlic butter and olive paste. I enjoyed the red wine because it is not as sweet as other house wines and tasted a bit more “Merlot”. wifey enjoyed the dry white wine as it is very “Pinot” the foot is pierced hot and large portions that really taste fresh. the atmosphere is calm and very “Greek” Taverna feeling. the chairs are comfortable and the side of the restaurant have windshields for when it is breezy, but they are lifted when it is mild, give fresh air while they feed. the owner (amuse host) and his wife (amuse cook) and his daughter (amuse service) welcome us and made us feel like an estimated family. I have dined most of the sidari restaurants, and this is by far the freshest, quiet yet cheapest for this quality in the opposite. They can reserve a table over facebook as they are popular and have a lot to do. Do not miss them like a massive mixed grill!

Good traditional Cypriot souvlaki. it was near my first place more than 25 years ago. one of my favorite places at the weekend, for this traditional cypriot kebab and related grill meze.
