I've been here for almost a decade for a happy customer. it is rare to get over such an authentic restaurant with consistency of taste and quality. Whenever I am in the mood for Indian food, while in Cyprus, this is the first place that comes into the senses (and I tried to supply all Indian restaurants in nicosia . they provide and opened a new load in the city that now supplies to my far away village: View all feedback.

We are visiting and ordering from this restaurant often, however it is not consistent in its quality. Last time we have ordered 2 dishes, Korma and Madras, which were disappointing for the price we've paid. Korma was lacking taste and Madras was not as spicy. Rice and roti were good, as well as the starting dips. Location is good. Quality depends on the day I guess. View all feedback.
We have tried twice the butternut chicken with rice and garlic naan which was very tasty. Delivery is very slow though. Last time we ordered it took about an hour and a half for the food to be delivered.
This is the only Indian restaurant in Nicosia, and luckily it has decent dishes. The meat is of good quality and tastes are ok but not the real thing. Spices are watered down to accommodate local buds so if you really like your food hot, please make a point and ask. Not much of an ambience but still very ok. The kitchen closes at 10:30 which is a bit disappointing as you feel that you have to speed up to finish your dinner so that they can close and go home.
As I British Indian, I have good taste and judgement when it comes to authentic Indian food, I was a little surprised at the menu as some of the most common Indian dishes were not on the menu. I came with my husband we ordered the tarka dhaal, chicken palak and chicken Madras (which strangely was made with coconut) , we were both very disappointed with the palak as it was obvious the palak(spinach) was out of a tin and not fresh at all, both curries were heavily pureed as well, which gave them a paste like texture. The Madras was sweet and yellow, , traditionally supposed to be spicy and red in colour. All in all the food was average and definitely NOT authentic Indian food, they were prepared in a way somebody who has never had true Indian food would enjoy, ie, extremely mild, over pureed and slightly bland. To be honest, the most authentic dish we had were the lentils (tarka dhaal). The tarka dhaal for us was the nicest.
We couldn’t eat our dishes because the lamb tasted off and whatever mixture of spices used in their sauces wasn’t working. I have never not been able to finish Indian food. If you’re after a tasty meal in Cyprus do yourself a favor and drive to kalimera India in Limassol, it’s cheaper and much more delicious.
Tasteless Indian food . It used to be very good but unfortunately the quality and taste of the food has deteriorated . I will not return .
