Was Jazmyne Gerhold at Pamir a mag?
Enjoyed a relaxing meal specialising in the subtle flavours of Afghan cuisine. Most expect the food to be spicy but no chilli is used. Just subtle spices such as cumin, mint and cardamom with lashings of yoghurt. The kebabs are an excellent starter, with the delicate Mantu (handmade Beef filled ravioli) as a main. In between courses we were given a warm cardamom infused tea which was a great palate cleanser in betwee... View all feedback.
What Alberta Nikolaus dislikes about Pamir:
We visited Pamir looking for something a little different. At first we were put off by the fact that some of the menu choices and wines were not available. However, we settled on Spicy Potato Fritters and Beef Kebab as starters, which were truly exceptional! Our main courses ( can't recall the exact name) were fairly bland and a little gloopy, but still okay. The service was very attentive ( the waiter kept asking if... View all feedback.

Good quality food with a taste of spices. Very particular the place as they tried to reproduce the whole of an Afghan house with carpets everywhere and in a part of the room you can dine on the ground with low tables and pillows on which to sit
How to say !!! At first very happy to be able to eat Afghan. We did not stop at the room with a local decoration but a little outdated. The reception and service were very pleasant. On the other hand in the menu at 29 euros, you have a dish with chicken, but it has nothing of chicken!!! with a large ration of rice that would deserve to be slightly scented. The wine map is not assured, not possible to answer our choice. We fight on a glass service, but the bottle of bordeaux is not presented at the table, we have no certainty that we did not have a local cubi wine, because it was not terrible and too cold. The dessert card is not insured either, there is only one proposal. And popur finish as we are the only ones in the room, reversible air conditioning is cut, inviting us not to drag too much at the table...
A good little restaurant in the old Nice for who wants to change the style of cuisine. Well, well prepared, nice service. I recommend
Very happy to have discovered this restaurant. From welcome to service and dishes, everything was perfect. We've been enjoying ourselves. There will be other times for sure.

A wonderful trip to Afghanistan. tasty and spicy dishes without being spicy. I would have put 5 stars if there were tissues instead of paper and toilets more available.
Lunch in a quiet afternoon. well presented dishes and what colors. discreet but attentive service. dessert less successful.
Fine, tasteful and very balanced cuisine. Thank you for this gustative getaway, it was a treat!
A nice discovery. the entrances and dishes were very good. excellent dessert. It was a first for us and certainly not the last.

Pamir is an absolute gem! This father son Afghan restaurant treated me like family from the moment I walked in. The qabuli and chapli were delicious authentic flavors prepared with real care. If you've never tried Afghan cuisine, this is a must visit. The combination of incredible food and genuine warmth makes it special. Highly recommend this wonderful family run restaurant!
