Very nice food, delicious and fresh! Loved the gyozas, sushi and ramen were nice aswell. Love the style of the restaurant. Good job guys!
I came here for dinner with my girlfriend as we were looking for something different after many French/Mediterranean nights out. We ordered very tender chicken teriyaki, tasty California and Unagi sushi, grill gyoza and a beef gyodon. All were delicious and the waitress was very attentive and food came out quick. A must if you're looking for something different in Nice.
Bright walls with manga/anime, soundtrack in the same theme. Distracting if you want to spend a calm, romantic dinner, but for a vibrant Tokyo/Osaka/etc. feeling, this restaurant will do the trick. We had agedashi tofu (6 €), california rolls (6 €), unagi nigiris (5 €), a sashimi plate (15 €), sukiyaki (15 €). Agedashi tofu was excellent. Lots of hot broth, great taste. Congratulations for the chef for that one. The sushis were only moderate because the rice (also the plain rice) was a bit too wet. Unagi was ok. The sashimi was moderate, on the expensive side for the quality. No daikon, a bit weary parsley, home cooking quality. Bigger portion than in some restaurants but still would feel small as the only course. Sukiyaki was both a bit strange and successful. The nicely chosen pot kept warm for a long time, that was nice. The broth was not exactly to my taste. Some like it like this, though. Quite greasy probably from the minced type of meat, diluted from the vegetables. I like a more concentrated soy+mirin type of taste. But wonderful to be able to have a home cooking style sukiyaki for 15 € in Nice. The owners are nice and we wish the best for this place. Maybe some new teishoku menus with good value could do the trick? Would be nice to see the menu on a website.
