I admit that I'm an ice cream addict, and really have been to most of the ice cream shops in town so you won't have to. Neron is hands down our favorite artisan... read more I admit that I'm an ice cream addict, and really have been to most of the ice cream shops in town so you won't have to. Neron is hands down our favorite artisan/sweet little place for ice cream and patisseries. We've had a few different fruity ice cream, Persian Pistachios, and Ginger Coconut, and they've all been unbelievably delicious. They have all kinds of gorgeous looking (almost too pretty to eat) patisseries and the ones we've had tasted as good as they looked. The latest piece we had was Mango Passionfruit Coconut Cake and it was to die for. Plus the ladies are always friendly and so sweet to us. In Old Town near the tram line. During non-Covid times, they have outdoor tables you can sit at in the cute square to enjoy your sweets. I can almost guarantee that whatever you take a bite of here will make you close your eyes and make a moaning sound.

The waiter immediately told me I must leave because I wasn’t ordering anything. I explained that I was just waiting a few minutes and might order when my friend arrived, but he insisted in a rather rude way and even mentioned calling the police. Maybe the place itself is actually nice and the ice cream could be good — I honestly don’t know, because after this interaction I decided not to try it. Later the waiter realized that I was taking a photo and came to apologize. I accepted his apology and I’m not holding any anger. I’m leaving this review only so that the owner or staff can reflect on this situation and maybe improve the way they treat potential customers. Even someone who is just waiting for a friend could become a guest. I truly wish this place well and hope their service improves and that they have more happy customers in the future.
