For those of us passionate about fine eating there is a time and space for haute cuisine, cutting meals that stretch their imagination and take them out of thei... read more For those of us passionate about fine eating there is a time and space for haute cuisine, cutting meals that stretch their imagination and take them out of their comfort zone. but most of the time, we usually long a really welcoming venue, with a talented chef, a charming and nurturing host, a waiting coworker who treats them like friends and a meal that contains fine ingredients that make them really happy. marin provides everything in full scope. the new facility is pleasant, and while many of the dishes come from the sea, there are still many possibilities for those who prefer meat and/or vegetables. as regards the seafood and husk, they are perfectly prepared with light but unmistakable sauces. while covid we may have to sit between Plexiglas screens and put us in the aquarium for a change. but the harmonie and the spirit of the restaurant prevails. we are happy to return here if we are in nizza. this is a beautiful neighbor, and if we live here, we would be regular. also as a rare visitor, the welcome is genuine and part of the positive experience. there is a decent wine selection. we are always looking forward to the return here.

Johannes Dory fish with fennel was so tender and the sauce was light and tasty. the lemon soufflé must be in my top ten desserts ever. this restaurant was better than some more expensive places we ate in lyon – don't miss it!
