“La Reine” welcomes you in her homey and funky little place. Lovely bohemian atmosphere with comfy vintage chairs and odd plates. Everything, from the Niçoise specialities (try the pissaladière, a local savoury tart) to the more familiar comfort food (the quiches of course, but I also loved the pancakes flavoured with a drop of rum) is freshly home-made with love – and skill. The perfect place for a relaxed lunch or a cuppa and pastry to recharge your batteries.
This really is the cream of the crop to visit in nice. We stopped for lunch 5 times in 2 weeks. You are welcomed in like one of the family, (and will probably get to meet the whole family if you visit more than once)! The queen and her prince (the waiter marco) are so friendly, its a kitsch relaxed vibe with good honest food. The menu changes daily, portions are huge and the tastes are delicious and put together so well. All this for an incredibly reasonable €14 for main, pudding and coffee. Dont miss a visit to this palace as you are sure to be treated like the belle/ beau of the ball (and will leave feeling like a ball too)!

As we left, Madam, the chef called out " nice to meet you". And it was nice meeting her, too! Glad we stopped by.
Very nice family restaurant with lovely owners. All food we tried was fresh made and totally homemade. Cheesecake is in must try list! Highly recommended.
The best restaurant. family cuisine, atypical place, always very good, very easy, small price, good quality products! topissimo. I advise with family friends in a couple between a colleague alone in front of the window in front of the good quiches and good cakes and the best banana
